Yes, get Diane back in court - otherwise that character has outlived its appeal.

I know this show has always been more politics-centred than focused on the actual law thing, but I do love when they give us these episodes mostly spent in a court of law, arguing cases. This was a good one, at that! They even managed to bring Diane out of her "coma"!

At first, I thought Carmen was about to be written off the show, but pairing her up with Diane made up for an impressive dynamic duo that managed to turn things around.

Ri'Chard was back to being his more whimsical self, thankfully, and I think the show benefits from giving him more screen time. He sure gave us some good old court action (with a little help from Liz).

As I've mention elsewhere, I don't get the Kings' obsession with the racial issue, but at least here it makes more sense than it does in their other show, Evil. Speaking of which, that was clever meta reference to Lemond Bishop (the actor who played that character went on to become a priest in the Kings' other show).

... And what an ending!
