2x05 Isn't It Romantic

Sophia: Jean is a nice person. She happens to like girls instead of guys. Some people like cats instead of dogs. Frankly, I'd rather live with a Lesbian than a cat. Unless a Lesbian sheds - that I don't know.

I know this was the 80's but they still could've handled this storyline a bit better.

Don't forget this was 1986 and I just love how progressive this was for that time. I guess that is why so many people from the LBGTQ+ community love The Golden Girls :heart:

Also, Jean x Rose?……eh…yeah sure I ship it. Major props for respectful portrayals of gay people here.
