10x22 Bev to the Future

I mean I know the show had to end sooner or later, but this was actually an awful series finale

Used to love this show, but it's gone down hill over the last few seasons, and the final season was no better.

This didn't feel like a series finale. It barely felt like a season finale.
It didn't feel like there was any meaningful forward momentum for any of the characters.
And for a show that is very sentimental, this episode wasn't really at all. It was just underwhelming, which is unfortunate because the show used to be so good at sappy endings.

It also doesn't seem like they considered the events of the spinoff, Schooled, where Barry is single and pursuing Lainey once again.

I think Back to the Future was a fitting way to end the show. Since it was (Minus the last few series) about Adam Goldberg & his family.

Good on the show for ending the series with a Bev episode, she earned it.

I'm so glad this was put out of its misery. They had a chance to go out on a high way too many seasons ago now. Sad

Oh sure, Adam is unfair, but everything Bev has done his entire life is all right.
