The Future Diary 2011

It was one heck of a crazy love story. There was a lot of stupid stuff involved and many things didn't get a closure.
Weirdest part was the Redial OVA (Yuno breaks Space-Time, for real!!!!??). Initially it started off with a nice pace but the end it became a little boring.
Animation & Story were great though. Every character has got a tragic past which kept this anime alive, story-wise.
Overall it was a good watch. Although I'd have preferred a little more gore for this type of anime.

A must watch anime for all anime fans! Perfectly timed background score sends a shiver down your spine. But watch the dub version, as the sub isn't that great and falls flat, the voice actors sound like 5 year old kids.

Starts good, mid is kinda weak but ends great!

This anime is so overrated and could have been so much better given the premise.

I think , this one is overrated. It's not bad but it isn't extraordinary , good above average anime with plot holes bigger than it's own plot. Don't get me wrong , I enjoy some aspects though , and some plot points are absolutely genius. I'm conflicted about this :)

What an ingenious way to justify a plot plagued by Deus ex Machina, I really found it quite original.

I wouldn't recommend watching this show as a young adult. You should've watched this when you were a teenager. I remember loving this show, but I tried to rewatch it once and couldn't get into it. It's kinda cliche and cringe. The OST is amazing, I think that's what made me love the show so much. And the build up to certain moments.

I'm sorry but I don't understand the hype for this show at all. This was easily one of the worst anime I've ever watched. Horrible plots, a weak, incompetent MC, a deplorable and malignant female "love interest", laughably bad plots and "mysteries", egregious amounts of unnecessary fanservice and an ending that is probably one of the dumbest I've seen. There's very few anime that I can thankfully say are worse cause I've kept myself away from the bad ones but this I sat through cause of the hype and it's ridiculously bad. Literally the only redeeming thing about it has to be the animation cause it's pretty good

A crazy and over-the-top anime about an insane girl who would literally kill for their boyfriend, obviously people are going to love this. This anime never lets up and gets crazier and crazier with every episode, and I love it.

Like 5 years later I watch this again. A lot of stuff has happened, a lot of thins changed, my personality is completely different from what it was back then. Instead of saying it's trash I acknowledge and appreciate, though sometimes make myself ignore some overly trashy parts and say that it's art. It's not only the flagman of the childish, plot-holed and kinda self aware batlle royale with mental characters genre, it is also a work of art. Don't even ask me if I know what art means, nobody does you stuck up. It's the person who defines art. I defined it. I don't need to explain it, when you know, you know.

I gotta admit, I was enjoying it at first but it didn't really think it was that impressive, in some things it seemed like a pretty generic anime of its "survival kind" (protagonist faces opponents one at a time until he defeats everybody), i would say that for the majority of the show it was good but not special.

However, i found the ending really intriguing and that alone really boosted the whole series a lot. Overall I'm really satisfied and I would absolutely recommend it, it's a "short" (26 episodes are not really that much) solid and entertaining experience, animation was also pretty good

With little sensible plot, I would have preferred a much shorter season. As it stands, the first half is great and the second completely unravels itself into nothing more than a pathetic excuse of a slasher. Kind of regret watching this, to be honest.

This is my greatest Anime Thus Far... So far nothing can top this

Two things:

1) Why is there a duplicate of Special 2: Data Migration under "Specials"?

2) Not counting the duplicates of Special 2: Data Migration and the OVA, what are the remaining specials, exactly? On the Wikipedia page, it only mentions the 26 episodes of Season 1 and the OVA, but none of the other 5.
