On par with last season. Despite having very little screen time for the most part, Hilary is still the funniest person. I remembered Will as the most funny and likeable character. In hindsight, he really isn't. He's often annoying, not funny and almost every scene featuring him and one of "his"girls is cringe af. However, episodes 24 and 26 show a grown-up Will and I very much appreciate that they produced these two more serious episodes.
Biggest change in this season was the new Aunt Viv. It's incredible how useless she is (the character - not the actor). It's like they deliberately decided not to have an adequate replacement.

Vivian replacement isn't working for me. I get that there were tensions off camera and Janet Hubert couldn't (or wouldn't) stay on, but the solution almost seems to have been "replace AND write out" the character of Vivian Banks. She's physically there, but doesn't do much.
Also notable: Will is a surprisingly unlikable character. That's not how I remembered him, but on this re-watch I find myself almost always wanting to yell at him for being inconsiderate, idiotic, and/or misogynistic. (Often, all three in the same episode.)
