Good episode, but they keep wandering away from each other and finding each other with no indication how they meet up or get out of their predicament sometimes. They travel great distances and then get back together like they were driving a car - not on a horse. Enjoyable, but a bit disjointed.

01x05 - The Buffalo Gun: 8/10 (Great)
Episode five, “The Buffalo Gun”, is another excellent episode. A masterful showcase of storytelling and cinematography. It’s coming together beautifully, and Hugo Blick’s storytelling is undeniably fresh and original. Emilia Blunt’s acting is top-notch, and she really brings her character to life with her subtle yet powerful performance. Chaske Spencer, as well as the rest of the cast, continue to give solid performances. The show’s disjointedness has been my only complaint about it, which holds true for this episode as well. Really wanted to see Rafe Spall again after his fantastic performance last episode, but sadly, he didn’t appear in this episode. With only one episode left, I’m intrigued to see how the story concludes.
