The story continues to be quite puzzling and I have not solved the mystery yet, maybe due to some problems with listening in English as I watched it without subtitles so I missed some pieces of dialogue. Alex was arrested on the charges of kidnapping the baby Noah, though I do not really think it was her, she was planning to do something to her ex but I guess she wouldn't be so irresponsible as to commit a crime when she was fighting for the custody over her daughter. Joanna seems to be missing her baby now and shows some feelings but the scene when her husband tells her what to say to the press and how to behave in order to awaken sympathy from the general public suggests she is perceived as cold and emotionless.
