1x01 Exodus

please do not listen to these reviews calling it boring, the first episode is amazing, it is shot really well and it sets up whats is to come in a great way. Tom Holland puts in a spectacular acting performance so I ask that you watch before reading the reviews of it being boring

so bad I couldn't even finish the first episode.

Okay, so I watched the first episodes back to back and I liked it a lot. A slow burn definitely, but thus far, worth the watch.

Really liked the first episode. I love the way this show is shot. The low angles while they’re walking and even the single shots following them in the beginning. :thumbsup:

Not terrible, it's not exactly doing anything new, just scenes you've watched plenty of times before, generic terrible Dad, generic bully, generic friend group. It's a very mid first episode

I just finished the first episode, and I can't say that I have high hopes for this mini-series. First off, the episode was an hour long, which is about 10-15 minutes longer than most "one-hour" mini-series episodes. Since it's a mystery, I expected them to keep many details hidden, which was fine, but they also didn't do much to further the story, which was problematic. You had to do one or the other.

I thought this was a kind of sweet and innocent episode, very heartwarming, most of the time. And heartbreaking, at the end, because of course. A most likely misleading but captivating series premiere.

Slow start but i think it will get better

It was not a business card that arouses interest in continuing. The dialogues and interaction between Danny and his friends ( possibly his other identities ) made me feel bored and tired. But it is also difficult to say that it cannot improve with the arrival of the new episodes, after all, everything is still very vague and without explanation.
