"The Comedy of the Private Life" are stories based on chronicles by Luis Fernando Verissimo, with different texts on each episode, not always in a linear format. They all have the same proposal of making humor with "the day to day life things". The Middle Class is always the focus.
Written by Jorge Furtado, Pedro Cardoso, Guel Arraes and Luis Fernando Verissimo, it was broadcasted between 1995 and 1997, with 21 episodes, on a programming block called "Terça Nobre", once a month, on three seasons, at 22h05, with a duration of approximately 45 minutes for each episode. The . The show did not have a fixed cast, but a lot of actors were cast multiple times, for example,, Marco Nanini, Pedro Cardoso, Fernanda Torres, Marieta Severo and others.
The series received some prizes: in December 1995, it was awarded "Grande Prêmio da Crítica da Associação Paulista de Críticos de Arte (APCA)" and, on the following year, it was elected the best TV Show by the TV Press agency.
