The Changeling 2023

I love this! Great cast and there is truth in each episode.

First 2 Episodes were horrible.

Good characters but no real story.
3rd Episode saved it for now - I'll at least check out Episode 4 before it gets kicked from my toWatch List

A way too long, overly complicated self-indulgent mess of a series that takes itself way too seriously for such a garbage end result. The story made hardly any sense at all, numerous threads were tugged at but never completed and nothing was explained all the way up to the massive anti-climax of the lousy ending. It may well have been that some semblance of sense may have been found in episode 7 but by this time I just didn't care and fast forwarded through what was the dullest of the dull. A serious waste of time watching this crap!

This show feels like a meeting that could have been an email.

“LaKeith [Stanfield] came into The Changeling with such dedication,” said Jonathan Van Tulleken, an executive producer/director on The Changeling. “I think it’s very rare to see an actor who brings his level of commitment to the set, and who is always digging through sort of the personal resonance in himself as well…

I have been saying it.. an incredible series due to its amazing cast— and production.

What is happening, how misleading was the trailer ?
not happy so far, first two episodes juju-magic and that stuff are stupid, hate the "witches" angle. 3 episode a bit save it i don't know yet. i will probably see the rest and come back with more.

Barely managed to finish first season. Was hoping at least some things will be explained, but at the end show got even worse. Lots of things doesn't make any sense even for a fairytale. Also, it could've been really fitted into max 5 episodes - so many useless audio visuals..

I bounced off this. I thought the writing was pretty awful in episode 1 and didn't watch beyond that. Maybe I'm just not the audience.

It starts with a tale of two courtships. Two women are harassed until they eventually given in. Why? No reason. The narrator says: '"Some may call that stalking," says narrator LaValle. "Apollo called it persistence."' The two stories are connected by familial line, suggesting a common cause of the "stalking". What was the point of this? Anyway, I thought that was pretty dumb and decided this wasn't worth my time.

[tv+] Conceived as a dark tale, it involves the vertigo of motherhood and fatherhood in a fantasy story that connects with mythology and witchcraft, which speaks of the broken dreams of emigration and the transformation of a New York that takes center stage. There is therefore too much ambition, and it doesn't always find a way for everything to come together in a cohesive way. Generally faithful to the novel, it loses some balance in the narrative, but builds a proposal so rich in nuances and so elaborate in its form that it manages not to completely shipwreck.

Skip it, this sh1t Is weird. This Is the worst script, writing, ever, this Is the worst mixture of stories witches, demons, fairies, greek, native American, celtas, killing childs, orishas, vudú, just think. A mamá kill his boy ,tortured him, and torture the husband then he forgive her, ahhh also hardcore feminism, killing the Man, abortion, kill babies. Apple needs to verify their content.

Do not waste a moment of your life on Themis series.
It doesn’t leave you satisfied it doesn’t leave with questions answered or answered for that matter. It certainly doesn’t leave you wanting more. I feel so let down in this Apple production after the likes of Blackbird and slow horses this makes you want to give up on Apple TV for good.

If you think that after the first episode you like it just stop and save yourself from the madness of pointless dialogues, like “Lost” big words and sentences of magnificent majesty without telling actually nothing in point.
What happens
You will see
How will I know
You will know when you know.

One bad apple from Apple
