Oof, I did not like this episode. One of the lesser ones... especially after the previous one.
What the hell is up with the music this season? It's been incredibly intrusive, unfitting, and all around awful. And not just in this episode, but it certainly was all of these things here as well.
I really liked how Safiya Maroun saved herself and the FBI was basically just minor (yet still important) support.
"Oh, you have no idea, sir. They have a chicken mole that is– [ Reading Cooper’s look ] Try and stay focused"
Good episode. I never noticed before but Megan is still shown in the opening credits. Surely it's not hard to remove them. I don't know what's going on with the Russian guys. Park did a lousy job following the guy.

Great episode! This one I found to be of particular note. In a previous episode I was critical of a particular topic and some say it was Aram joking around. However in this episode there was a very clear distinction of Aram's wit and humour and it made me LOL, that's the Aram I remember (and the writing). Then we had a particularly intense moment pulling out all stops with Redington. I really love Spader in this role... Simply just Nails it Every time. Not too mention the writing is usually good, but this was exceptional. Too good to miss this episode.
