Good episode. A concise story. Not too complicated. Police work is depicted as realistically as possible in TV. They basically fail to find the murder. But the Lolita saves the day in a way a policeman never could. Schimanski as entertaining as ever in his role as an atypical police officer.
Damn look at him. Magnum P. I. ain't got shit on Schimanski. He's sexy in his Coq Sportif sweatshirt and he knows it. Boxing pays off! It's like having a random bikini girl in other shows...
Wait, is that how a Burger King looked in the early 80s? Awesome. And that's exactly how I always pictured Jan Fedder in the 80s. Is he even playing a role?
This episode has a fantastic score by Tangerine Dream. They heavily influenced this typical 80s synthesizer sound that still feels modern today.
I would have loved if Schimanski lost the battle against his obvious temptations and actually slept with the lolita girl - but I guess that would have turned out to mich of a scandal in 80s German television. Plus, Schimanski is adorable playing the father figure.
Best scene: his secretary reads Schimanski the lawyer's statement.
