This episode presents another example of the writers rushing what could have been a good story. The mystery wasn't quite as smart as it thought it was, being rushed by the viewer without the viewer really having a chance to comprehend each twist and turn. The villain's reasoning didn't make any sense, and Kirito's answer to Asuna's question seemed obvious, not special. It's only special if you empathize with the villain, who, as I said, didn't make sense.

Nice little bit of foreshadowing showing Lisbeth on Asuna's friend list. I wonder who Ashley is. I don't think she's an SAO character. Probably just another name to fill in a space, but still interesting.

the funny thing is this plot line actually kinda realistic (a man marrying a woman and then killing her because she doesn't act like how he thought she should - honor killing irl anyone?), but the unrealistic thing is the dude being shocked and accepting his fate when told 'you didn't love her you wanted to possess her' like i mean obviously ??

what doesn't make sense is the lackadaisical 'evidence' kirito puts together to explain what happened - the teleportation we saw on screen did not look like the durability fading animation at all and how he got from point a to point b was just nonsensical leaps and poor writing
