Great episode, but if a girl tells you she'll kill herself if she loses you — run in the opposite direction as fast as you can! That's a really dangerous personality type. I don't think that's what the writers were going for there, though. I do like how they make hints as to what their bodies would be like in the real world. Since they were forced to use avatars based on their true appearance (see the first episode), there's no surprises. I mean, Kirito isn't really a girl and Asuna's not confined to a wheelchair like in the original series... though that comes back around in its own right in season 2 when Kirito gets a feminine avatar, and in the second arc of season 1 when Asuna is trapped in a cage (not to mention what's happening in the real world). These aren't spoilers, by the way. Just a little insight behind the scenes.
i am once again asking... if i get trapped in a video game/simulation, please let me just stay there and spend my days fishing or whatever lol i don't want to be here why are they so convinced that they must return back to 'the real world' for their feelings for each other/dating/getting married to be real:rolling_eyes:
also can u imagine if sword art took place in the US all of us regular people that can't afford exorbitant healthcare bills would probably have died by now bahaha
