Meh. I really wanted Gus to be smart, but they keep writing him like a brainless little baby. Kids his age aren’t dumb. Or maybe you need to be reading books and be inspired by other media in order to sufficiently learn, but then again his Pabba was fucking awful raising him this insufficiently in this dangerous world.

I'm 3 minutes into the episode and it already has a dumb ass trait that I hate. Gus would have clearly seen the body of Big Man if he failed to grab hold of the train. So dumb.
End of episode notes - I'm going through the motions now. It's not bad but it's just uninspired. I'm significantly more interested in the doctor / wife stuff. I love Jeff Lemire and his work, but haven't read Sweet Tooth yet. So I'm hoping this is just a poor adaptation.
