Previously I thought this show was great; this season I'm on the fence. I'm not a huge Mike and Rachel fan, so having them not on the show isn't the thing that bugs me. The writing has dropped in originality in my opinion.
Originally, I was just taken aback the the gratuitous cursing seemingly done by everyone on the show now. Add that to the lack of intellectual banter between characters now. At best we still have Louis' quick, zip gun retorts that only would come out of his mind but that's about it.
Also, it seems that EVERYONE is pissed off about something. They use to get angry against a a particular cause and would team up to intelligently find a creative solution, but now they are just pissed off at one another... I know that they have been through a lot since Mike's legal troubles but seriously; Suits is beginning to feel like a teen angst sitcom.
