This was far better than I was expecting and as it turns out I did not miss Mike nor the "Princess" at all. I especially enjoyed the growth of Katrina, I would love to see her get more air time now.
This is probably the last time I watch this show. What terrible terrible clique writing. The actors were given bad material. I have a feeling this season is using new writers since Mike left.
Izzie Stevens, so you became a lawyer after you quit medicine. Alex still thinks about you, btw.
They're definitely going the right way here. I thought with the change of cast it might drop in quality a bit, but they found a way to both expand the show and fill the void in an amazing way.
First, the new opening graphics threw me for a bit. It definitely telegraphed that the show is going in a different direction. Next, the copious cursing continues from the end of last season. The writing had been good enough not to need so much of the colorful language. Which brings up the current writing, where is the intelligent back and forth banter that we are accustomed to? I had always considered this a smart show but now it's coming into question. I know this is just the first episode of the season after a major personal change in one of the stars, but the producers had said that they were well prepared in advance for this change. Hopefully this isn't the extent of their preparation...
new title sequence babey let's go!!!!
Does anyone at the firm work together any more??
To be honest, without such an Importan character like Mike, this doesn't feel like Suits but... show must go on let's see how it ends
Katherine Heigl is just not my kinda actress, sorry
Goodbye all you haters. Don’t look back. Your prince and princess have gone. Get over it. I’m liking it so far.
New credits He has recovered the good tone. Well for greater prominence of Katrina and Katherine Heigl is fine. We will continue watching.

I think I'm gonna consider "Goodbye" to be my ending of the series.
I simply cannot stand the grandstanding cockfighting attitude of these rich arrogant douchebags anymore nor the increasingly tense music they play with every single scene. A third in this episode I got bored with the same type of scene after scene that I decided to watch it at 1.7 speed... though not nearly on chipmunk level it still didn't make me enjoy the episode nor the characters.
I might watch cause I'm a completionist (for the most part) and cause of the rare Lewis scene that makes it worth it, and maybe cause of Amanda Schull but damn.... If I wanted to see bitchfights every second I'd watch reality TV.
