I really enjoyed season one! Excited to see where they take things
I enjoy police shows, whodunnits, & mysteries. Throw in Colin Farrell and how could I resist? Farrell plays a smooth, debonair, sharp-dressing PI in Hollywood. He is hired by a famous movie producer to find his abducted granddaughter. The more he investigates, the deeper & more close to home the truth gets. Throughout the episodes, Farrell narrates his thoughts throughout the show while short clips of old movies intermittently play, as if he`s trying to mimic their behavior. This kind of story telling is interesting for us that have actually viewed a few of those films. Just as all good whodunits play out, a surprising but not completely unexpected BAM is revealed about two-thirds through the show. And an even bigger BAM-BAM is revealed at the end. This perfectly sets the stage for a Season 2 - one that I surely hope happens.
Amy Ryan plays a great female lead to Collin Farrell's all-business demeanor character. She is serious yet soft when needed. I hope she returns as well. Great show. Well written, well played. Fingers crossed for another season.
I honestly think I'd have preferred this show without the big alien twist, but even with it... Loved it. Beautifully written and acted, it was a fun and thoughtful spectacle oozing with style. More of Farrell doing this please, and more of the superb supporting cast.

I wonder what Amy saw when they held hands. Sugar must have shown her through a vision maybe? I have to be careful of what I say, but so many questions.
I love how subtle Colin’s reveal is, keeping it mysterious. That mixed with the noir makes it an intriguing watch. Love LA Confidential, and the game LA Noire.
I think Colin Farrell is becoming one of my favourite actors. He’s incredible in everything he does and has that “it factor”, a magnetism in where he is the standout in every scene. He’s been in a lot of great movies through the years (we don’t talk about Artemus Fowl) and kills it every time.
Really hoping for another season, enjoyed this a lot.
Great finale! We all want season 2 to happen.
Is it definitely not possible to get my time back for watching the entire season ?
I don’t know. I mean, yeah Collin Farrell is nice, noir was fabulous, even the twist was kinda cringy but not that bad. But the bridge for a second season was quite weak as of my taste.
O don’t believe his suffering because the sisters loss, it was too plastic among the season, same as I don’t believe that it was made by his friend.
So much weak spots in this, like:
1. A dress as an evidence. Like seriously? They on their planet dressed all the unique dresses for each of them, so it can’t be any other women’s dress?
2. Why the hell is she here on Earth?
3. Why the hell are they all “not this kind as humans”, but yet here we are his best friend kidnapped his beloved sister before the expedition?
4. Why does that Miller got killed, for God sake why? So much plastic here.
In overall I’d say this season was quite well and charming, but I barely see myself watching the second one.
