Mostly Godzilla, but a little bit Alien, down to the creepy scientist and a conspiracy, although governmental instead of corporate (is there a difference?)

The episode had what many others this season were missing. Meaning, depth and emotion. This is probably (hopefully) the beginning of the arc leading into the season finale. Interesting new addition with Dr. Hemlock. He seems to be a sinister figure.

At first I wasn't sure about the monster but then I remembered the Zillo. So it's nice they are bringing it in and by that weaving the shows together.

Can we now please stay on this course and kiss Cid goodbye for good.

Better than the last episodes as it's first of all a shoutback to Clone Wars, and on the other hand also puts the team back in opposition to the empire and more specifically puts Omega back in target range. (Not that I'd miss her, mind you.)

In a refreshing change of pace, Omega doesn't do anything monumentally stupid in this one.
