[4.2/10] This was painful. The core of this one isn’t so bad. Latara getting tired of commoner life only to find that princess life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be could be the foundation of a solid tale. But the slug-people who try to kidnap her and marry her off to their prince are grating and awful. Latara herself is pretty annoying throughout this one. Wicket getting sick of her B.S. but trying to shut up and playing along to earn Kneesa’s “pearl of patience” at least add something to the dynamic. But on the whole, this is a trying fifteen minutes of a television.
