Season 5

I'm glad they are cancelling this series, maybe the first 2 seasons were good, but the rest is just awful. Michael Burnham acting was perfect until the last seasons, where she either smiles in the wrong moment or overreacting to something mild.
People still remember old Star Trek series, such as Voyager, TNG, Deep Space 9, but this one will be forgotten by the end of Season 5.

Good production values, terrible script writing, wasted potential storyline. The characters are really weak, led by Burnham, Tilly, Book, and Siru.

I could write a thousand words to describe this season but I am not sure why I should bother when just one word is more deserving and requires the same amount of thought that went into the script and that word is "Crap".

I disagree, I have thought this recent season has at least understandable writing and interesting story line.

This season is odd.

If they wanted to make Star Wars just do that instead, there's plenty of it to go around these days. Just don't do it in the Star Trek universe.

What a finale. I've never been so uninterested and annoyed at a the way a show ended. Just a terrible end, season, and really multiple seasons back to back. The Michael Burnham (oh and some people you can't likely name who are barely there too) Show is finally over. Good riddance to hands down the most disappointing Trek series.

I am sorry, but the complete absence of 2 primary bridge characters WE JUST LEARNED ABOUT in season 4, even though they have been around since season 1... Where are Detmer and Owosekun?

I heard a reference to them in an episode, but that is it, just gone... Between that and the way they utterly destroyed the intrigue of the Breen... I am so glad this is ending.. and it saddens me to say it.

Written as I rewatch episode 9, and I feel like I am in a Disney movie, and the Breen are just differently outfitted Buzz Lightyears (you will know what I mean in episode 9), so I may have an update later...

A good finale. And now the end of Star Trek Discovery. It's been a good show. But could have and should have been better in seasons 4 and 5. Anyway, all good thing's must come to an end.
