People expecting a similar vibe to "My Name is Earl" or "Raising Hope" will be... I won't say "disappointed", but surprised. "Sprung" has the DNA of those shows in it's humor, but it feels much more subdued, and far more cinematic. There isn't whimsical incidental music, and the jokes aren't thrown at the viewer in a lightning fast manner. But that's not a bad thing, I really dig the vibe of this show so far. It does suck to sort of re-live the early stages of the pandemic through this show, but I understand that it's crucial to the storytelling.
enjoyable.
* not too heavy, serious to make u say " i cant deal with it right now".

So glad i stumbled on this show. It was very good and kept getting better every episode.
Surely doesn’t hurt that Gloria is so beautiful “chief’s kiss”
Wiggles was an unexpected great addition especially towards the end.
Episodes are too long, jokes don't really land, and it has such a brainless ending that I didn't even realize the show was over.
It's not all bad though. If you're just looking to have something on the TV while you game or something you may occasionally look up and be treated with one of its rare funny moments. But the show is so drawn out you really don't have to pay attention to know what's going on.
Truthfully, I would advise not giving your full attention to this as you'll probably get bored and feel it's a poor waste of your time.
