I really enjoyed watching this show all these years. It has an amazing story and a truly amazing soundtrack. Definitely a must watch.

I finished this show a long time ago. It still comes back to my mind regularly. What an amazing show, best ever. I miss it so much. Ahhh sweet memories
Boy, oh boy. What a show. It has been a long time since I have felt so invested in characters and the overarching narrative. This show grabbed my attention right out the gate and pulled at my heartstrings for the following 91 episodes. Where so many shows start to flutter after 3 or 4 seasons, I think SOA maintains its quality throughout. Where so many shows don't know how to end the series, SOA ended perfectly. There was no more story to tell. No more loose ends. Finishing the show felt satisfying despite "wanting" more. This show is not going to be for everyone, but for those that it clicks with, they will definitely love it and should be atop their watchlists. It is a dark and violent undertone that is reminiscent of a Breaking Bad or Walking Dead, with the quality of story of Breaking Bad. I do plan on getting to the spinoff series soon enough, but I need to space out these two series or I will surely be disappointed by the follow up. Anyways, check out this show if you like the violent drama shows, you won't be disappointed.

I can't get enough of the show. I've watched episodes over 4 or 5 times. My all time favorite TV biker show. Very addictive!!!!
Too much drama, too little action, not enough suspense. Not my type
Pew... ok. It's not a bad show, let me say that first. It's also not "the best show ever" or close to being it. It's very slow at times, and it's hard to know what's going on a lot of the time. Those complaints aside, it's unrealistic in the same way Dexter is, you have to suspend your disbelief a lot while watching this show. It also ends pretty predictably, and the main character is portrayed as a hero when he's really a shit head who gets a lot of people killed for his ignorance. That all said, there's a decent underlining story here and it's worth watching if you don't go in expecting a great show. It's above average, and has a lot of likable characters.
Great show with lots of fantastic points but definitely has its weaknesses. One of which being that literally everyone besides one or two characters is a complete and utter piece of crap. Kinda makes it hard to really like or relate to the characters at first. Took me a couple of seasons until I actually started to get invested, simply because all the main characters are such terrible people. Aside from that, the acting is solid, there are a lot of strong plot points, soundtrack is great, and pacing is good.
One of the other gripes I have with the show is that many of the resolutions to big plot points often left me feeling underwhelmed. Build up was usually fantastic, but I didn't think the payoff always delivered. The finale is a great example of this. Also, probably just personal taste, but I really did not like any of the car chase scenes in the show.
Overall, it is a good show that I'd recommend watching, but I struggle to quite understand the hype that I had been hearing prior to watching. In my opinion, it comes no where close to being the best show ever as many others have been saying. But that's not a knock on this show, it's still very good.
Without a doubt it is my favorite series. I've watched it completely 5 times. Incredible characters, the story totally unpredictable and with a very well done storyline. Flawless soundtrack with harleys and an MC. Put all these features together and you have a wonderful series.

Well-produced, tense, exciting and emotional. But I eventually stopped watching because the characters' behaviours got so utterly and depressingly self-destructive.
This is hands down one of the best shows I've seen. Original and a solid plot with a heartbreaking ending and the best soundtrack and audio effects team. What I don't get is why is this show so underrated and unpopular?! Beats most shows that people are watching and calling "greats" nowadays.

One of my favorite shows of all time. Great story, acting, writing, and very entertaining. At times really dark and brutal - then other times very sweet, touching, and/Or funny. Over the season your feel like you really know these people. The characters are so well defined.

Waiting for next season...
I had heard good things about Songs of Anarchy from various people before the ex and I finally got around to watching it sometime last year.
The ex liked the first season a lot more than me – I found it over the top, soap opera-y, but at least it was entertaining.
But the second season feels like a complete retread of the first, with more drama – this time internal – that is resolved in the most ridiculous Deus ex Machina kind of way. (I guess it’s technically not Deus ex Machina, since we the audience knew about it from many episodes earlier, but the problem is that we are supposed to believe this revelation resolves everything internal. It’s as if the whole Clay-Jax conflict never even happened – not to mention the Opie thing.) It’s just retarded. And the over the top drama had already made the show not very entertaining the but the reveal is just so, so much worse.
"Sons" was an amazing depiction of the life of an Outlaw MC. Watching it during its release really left you with a visceral feeling that being in SAMCRO was like driving on the edge of a cliff with a burning river beneath you. I binged this during the pandemic and I don't advise that. After watching 4 or 5 episodes in a row, you need a break. It's tragedy after tragedy.
Gave up after a few episodes… load of “outlaw” bollocks.

A truly great series, the shame is woke has stopped all progress and there is little even watchable now, have we seen the best?
I have tried so much to drop this show but it got interesting with every season finale. I absolutely hated Chalie Hunnam! His character was so immature and irritating! I could not bear watching him acting like a teenage boy. I am so glad it ended. No matter how bad the main characters were,I felt bad when they died but not for Jax's.
I have a feeling if (when) I rewatch this I'll appreciate it a lot more.

Personally though, I think the show drops off a bit in the latter 2 seasons. Probably could have wrapped it up and take a different approach in Season 6.
Anyway, would still recommend it.
While I enjoyed the first four seasons, the last three seasons were extremely unpleasant. I feel like the creators were influenced by Game of Thrones and tried to emulate it by adding in extreme, brutal violence and unexpected character deaths. Another influence was Breaking Bad, as they decided to make the main character become progressively more violent and immoral, which doesn't work in this case, because while Walter White was an ordinary man who transformed into a criminal kingpin, Jax Teller starts off as a criminal who is relatively good/moral (at least compared to Clay) and whose goal is to take over the club from Clay and make it less violent. Jax's arc is that he's a criminal who is trying to be better and to improve his surroundings, and to even stop being a criminal. However the writers decided to reverse this in the later seasons by turning him "bad" and in fact making him worse than ever before.
I feel like this show would have been better if they would have stuck to their original premise, and didn't throw everything away in order to be more like other shows. On the plus side, the premise of the show is interesting, and the actors are great in their parts. It's a shame the last three seasons are so unbearable.

Very trite totally predictable I did like the acting
Pretty much story about a family and their love for motorcycles. Sometimes i felt that the story was bit slow but they did an okay job at then end. Enjoyed overall.
I really, REALLY liked this show. The action, the drama, even the politics of it all. The fights excited me, the deaths saddened me, what happened to Gemma disturbed me (I barely got through that ending). My only complaint is that I hated how it ended. So, unsatisfying. That's the only reason this didn't get a 10.

Used to be a decent show up to season 6. Now it goes in circles. I begin suspecting that scriptwriters don't know how to bring it to conclusion and that we may very well face a lousy finale (as it was with Lost, for example). Hope I will be wrong, though.
