Just got to this episode on my re-watch that I started years ago (like 2012!). I wasn't really interested in watching the new DC Universe Star Girl - but this actually acted as kind of a pilot haha. So now I'll give it a watch.

Real good ep.

The hairs on my balls stood on end....
Tremendous chapter, now I really want to continue watching the series...
Waller, the suicide squad, the Justice Society of America...
Fuck, it was a great episode...
The action scenes, the very heroic dialogues, comic book style...
It was really good that it lasted 1 hour, but I wish it would have been 2 chapters of 1 hour and cover more, the way they defeat Carambano seemed fast and bland, I expected more...
But that ending uff....
Tess...
Hopefully they will have relevance in future chapters and it won't be nothing...

I absolutely didn’t get this one, at least the first episode, I thought I’d skipped an episode or something, the storytelling/introduction was off. I was like are they from the future? The present? The past? But very cleverly they put those videos of them in black and white so I thought they were from the 20s?!?
And then it was super confusing cause it’s 2021 and I’ve watched THREE different versions of this, I started with the arrowverse, then the dceu and now this, I’ve seen three different Amanda Wallers!
and can you believe it took all of them to fight the icicle man?? How lame!!!
And when Clark said “Lex is dead” and the helmet man was like ... I guess that means something.
Stargirl was so cool! She was the highlight of this. And it was cool seeing John Jones again!
