Wow, I knew Jonathan was going to be okay the moment Chloe and Clark had a cheerful conversation in the middle of trying to rescue him. Of course, Nixon had to die, but it's something that Lex did it - especially considering he seemed barely touched by it, almost as if he'd killed someone before. Also, watching this today I just can't get that whole sex abuse cult thing out of my head. It makes it kind of hard to empathise with Chloe despite the fact that i'm well aware it's a character, not the actress herself.

Great season premiere!
I liked seeing Lex making the right decision regarding save his father and even feeling guilty for having hesitated. Shows that Lex really was a good person back then. Also was perfect that he was the one to save Jonathan and kill Nixon, hopefully that is bound to add some points for him with the Kents.
It made no sense that Jonathan would be sharing all those memories/secrets with Nixon, no matter how bad the situation was.
And poor Chloe, her crush really is just one-sided
