I wasn't as impressed with this episode. Something about it just didn't work for me. I think it was the interpretation of Purgatory. It just didn't fit with what Purgatory is. Exchanging souls violates the entire purpose of Purgatory. I guess they needed some way to write their way out of a corner, but that just struck me as cheap.
The rest of the episode was good and the ending was exceptional.
