I remember running my ass off from school so I can get home just in time to watch Slam Dunk. I didn't even want to miss the opening theme song. It was incredible, in Arabic. Ah, beautiful memories.
I didn’t watch this as a kid like many, but I loved Inoue Takehiko’s art for years, just never tried it because I thought I wouldn’t be interested in a sports anime. The story totally grabbed me and I ended up watching it all in a few days and even buying the manga to read Til the end. Totally love every bit of it! Some classics don’t age well but this one is truly great.
