Looks like the show is getting worse from the last episode.
This one was terrible.
So I guess we're just gonna keep on pretending all those people didn't catch a glimpse of what the outside really looks like. Great writing...
So much manufactured conflict in this episode
Oh dear, that deaging on Iain Glen...
This was the best episode of the series so far. A bit slow to start the new series — a lot of writing that wasn’t in the book — but it feels like we’re finally getting into the meat of the storylines from the book so I’m excited to follow along and see if they are true to the novels or if they’re going to continue with some smaller encounters that were developed specifically for the show.
the old man's been through a lot. give him a break...
but not on his nose!
This show has been solid through and through over its first several episodes. Love the sci-fi dystopian setting, the mysteries, the grounded characters. A slow burn for sure especially this episode, and I wasn’t sure how I felt about the structure as the first few entries now feel like more of a prologue. But now we’re getting into the meat of things and I’m very intrigued.
Maybe Marnes was right. He was the target.
SO. MUCH. SHOUTING.
Holy melodrama, why did this dip so hard in quality between eps?
Bob, is that you? He could say that to the gunman and that might distract him enough to disarm him.

Yeah, this one was hitting the brakes a little bit. Still a good episode and for sure no reason throwing the towel on this show.
We see a lot of Marnes pain about the loss of Major Jahns. Which was good for the character but I don't think it needed multiple scenes for that. We also delve into Juliette's past and learn how she got to Below. Which was again good context for the character.
I don't know where I stand with Marnes. He seems to be riding two horses and the final scene kinda confirms it might have been him who was the target for the murder. Or whoever ordered the hits wanted both dead ?
I do hope so he doesn't get killed, too, because I like Will Patton a lot.
