Great, now I want 6 seasons and a movie dedicated solely to the girls hanging out together. The final scene brought a tear to my eye.
aaaaa, what a happy episode. finally Jackson resolved himself with his mother. and fuck, how it hurt to hear those things the girls said. Adam, Adam, knew there was going to be some shit. and I said that Ola and Lily would be together. I don't know if I agree with Eric's mother, I want to see him happy and I don't know if Adam is the best for him. Rahim is a good boyfriend, despite the differences. he felt sorry for Adam. :(
fuck, this final scene moved me a lot.
this episode had everything really. It felt brilliantly with many things, that whole mom thing got me emotional.. simply brilliant
That last scene was powerful. Love this group of different women brought together
So many tear jerk moments. This show is rather excellent with theming their episodes. The scene with Jean toward the end, as she walked out the door, really got to me. I almost cried myself haha. Ugh.
Doesn’t make him shine? I thought Eric looked really happy with Rahid.
And I really really want to smash some stuff.
What a great episode! <3 the final scene and Mystery of Love from Call Me By Your Name really got me
What a fantastic ending to this episode, very exciting for those who are empathetic and even for me, I'm a man !!!
When all the girls get on that bus with Aimee, my heart! Women standing together, yes. Powerful!
Otis is going to be in a world of trouble now.
A really heartwarming episodes. I loved the moments between Jackson and his Mom, and the girls. Jackson's character has been beautifully written this season, watching him deal with the pressure of living out his Moms dream of swimming has been painful, w.it leading to him selfharming, and attempting to self harm again once his hand healed. Learning this episode how his white Mom, Sophia, was so worried that Jackson wouldnt view her as a real mom, since he was born out of Roz Marchetti, and as such she was so happy about Jackson swimming because it was something that connected them together, with swimming also being her passion, moreso than any desire she had to living out swimming career dreams through Jackson was so sweet to hear. All she wanted was for Jackson to view her as a real mom, with them to have this connection through swimming. After Jackson said that she wasnt a real mom it mustve been so painful, tho Jackson only said that ot hurt her rather than because he genuinelly felt that way, and Im glad that afterwards they had a chat where Sophia opened up about why she actualy was so happy Jackson was swimming, breaking Jacksons preconceptions, and Jackson revealed that he needed to find his own path in life rather than living someone elses, and that he didnt love swimming anymore and that he's doing the school play. Also, my other favourite moment was all the girls bonding in detention and opening up about their experiences about sexual assault, as well as helping Aimee deal with the trauma she was experiencing from sexual assault w/ them going to the junkyard w/her to break shit, and walkign with her onto the bus, facing her trauma head on. Also, looks like things might be going south for Maeve and Erin again, I really hope she isnt doing drugs again and was really just embarrased about losing her job. Isaac is a goat for looking out for Maeve tho, even tho spying on Erin is pretty weird. Also poor Adam, he really cant catch a break, the door really had to be unlocked despite Adam clearly locking it, and someone just had to break into the shop. Also, rip Jakob x Jean, though it obviously makes sense Jakob would end things with her, Jakob doesnt need to deal with the pain of being cheated on, and its clear, as Jakob pointed out, that Jean isnt ready for the intimacy that Jakob would want in a relationship. Even tho she did fuck up, I still feel bad for Jean, I mean with her crying after being rejected by Jakob its clear she really did like Jakob. Also, damn Mr. Groff, he really became cartoonisjjly evil this season, with him pasting all the confidential pages of Jean's client book all over the school so he had an excuse to fire her, all because he's mad Jean was real to Maureene about her relationship. And now that Jean knows about Otis' sex advice business, looks like things are fucked between Otis and Jean again. Also, regarding Otis, I really liked his moments with Ruby this episode, they could easily become good friends and it was heartwarming seeing them talk, with Ruby opening up about her dad's medical condition to Otis, and how she was upset over this, im looking forward to more of those two. And, looks like things between Eric and Rahim are fine, I mean they even said they love eachother this episode, but damn Eric's mom is right, Eric doesnt really sparkle when he's with Rahim. Also, damn I hope Viv and Jackson become friends agaiin now that Jackson made up with his Mom.
The reason I started watching the show. The opening scene and the closing scene were too great. Encompassing.
A beautiful ending, loved the girl power! And the episode also reminded me of The Breakfast Club.
Haha, Otis and Ruby were so funny together :D And they're even pretty cute!
Ruby's also much smarter than I thought. I like how she went for the pill to be sure. I like and value Ruby much more now (at least when she's alone or with a nerd).
And hungover Otis was of course super great in general <3 His reaction to the vanished kondom, when he told his mother about the 150 strangers, Eric's amused, the reaction of Ola and Maeve, and of course just the super funny way he sometimes walks around.
There were also so many developments.
Jean leaning about "sex kid" and being quite hurt when Jakob broke up with her (I wonder if that'll be the end of it or if she'll fight for him).
Jackson talking to his non-biological mother.
Maeve discovering yet another of Erin's lies - I wonder for how long their relationship will last this time.
Rahim visiting Eric at the church. And I'm quite sad about what Eric's mother said. I hope Eric won't be with Adam again. I thought he was much happier with Rahim.
Ola and Lily (good for Ola).
Maeve and Ola are starting to get along.
And Adam is still quite unlucky... :o Although he could've checked that door to be sure... AFAIK I always do that when I lock a new door (etc.) but no idea how common that is.
And Amy can finally get on the bus again :) What a lovely ending!
What a beautiful episode. That last scene truly brought me to tears.

Enter any ladies’ restroom at any bar on any given night and you’ll see that women really are always there for each other when it matters most. This has been my favorite episode so far.
