Loving this season.
Rahim and Eric on the dance machine were just about the sweetest thing.
Jakob has started to annoy me. I don’t like when people act like they own someone else’s place. There’s a time for that, but I don’t feel that time has come yet.
Poor Aimee. It’s so typical. You think you’re the one inconveniencing everyone because well, it’s just a sneeze, but then you suddenly find yourself invaded and scared and triggered. Woop.
So far one of the best new shows around.
Eric and Rahim are so adorable! I hope Eric chooses him because although I feel bad for Adam because of his d*ck dad, he still bullied/bullies Eric, and there's no need for a toxic relationship in this show (or anywhere).
The Otis-Ola-Maeve trio is similar too, but I think Otis and everyone can tell that Maeve isn't saying these nicknames ("d*ckhead") seriously, and she's not bullying anyone. And although Ola is more... "normal", I guess, and I like her patience to take things slow, we all know that Otis and Maeve are the ones whose souls belong together, soo...
Really glad Aimee was taken seriously at the police station. Was worried about the direction the plot was going to take when Maeve insisted they report it.
Otis was a bit annoying this episode, the teen struggling with a step dad figure is kind of old. Albeit this situation is a little more difficult but he knew about his mum and Jakob's history when he got with Ola. It wasn't outside the realms of possibility.
On that note, Jakob is a legit fox. It's kind of distracting.
"Where is Jessica Hyde?" (from Utopia if anyone doesn't know).
Love the actor (Neil Maskell) that played the male cop and had a huge flashback to that show after seeing him. Wish he had a bigger part in a show again.
Loving this season so far. Continues right where S1 left off.
Is it tear I feel in my cheeks?
What an emotionnal episode. <3
Im glad this show tackles serious topics with such care, with this episode exploring Aimee experiencing sexual assault. I feel bad for Aimee, now that the sexual assault incident is starting to set in for Aimee, its clearly causing trauma and pain for her, with her now not being able to go on the bus anymore, since that was where the sexual assault took place. Also Maeve really is a good person, with her dedicating her day to helping Aimee out to report the sexual assault case, Im glad Aimee has a friend like her by her side. Also, regarding Maeve, im so pissed that she chickened out on the confession to Otis, they had so many cute moments this episode, the chemistry between them is clearly not gone. Also, honestly Otis was a dickhead to his family this episode. I undertsand that he's angry with Jakob becoming such a big prescense in his life now that he's dating Jean, and Otis not wanting someone to sort of replace his own father, even given the shit his dad did. Also, the fact that Jakob is his girlfriend's dad cannot be any help to the dynamic at all. But regardless of this, he shouldnt be such an arrogant shit to everyone, I mean everyone else is trying hard to make this new dynamic work but Otis is still being a little shit about it. Also, regarding Adam, I feel bad for the kid, I mean he was unfairly kicked out of military school and now he's stuck at home, and even when he is trying to be a good son he still fucks up, looks liek Adam and Mr. Groff's relationship is not imrpoving any time soon, w/ Mr Groff compleltly giving up on Adam getting a formal education and now having him work at some convience store. On the bright side though, maybe Adam and Eric could get back together again. Regarding Eric, Im so happy for him, he finally has a boyfriend and they're seeming to get along great, Im glad Eric met Rahim. Also, I could never forget my boy Jackson, my mans becoming Troy Bolt, participating and nailing a school play audition thanks to the help of his tutor Vivian, finding something that he actually seems passionate about. Also, I just gotta say, Jackson and Vivian's friendship is so cute, I cant wait to see more of them.
Important storyline for Aimee, very happy for Eric and the music is always great in this show!
Come on, Maeve. I was waiting to say what I felt. it was not this time.
That's actually a really nice gift!
i really love that we got to get a screen time for practically everyone, they all had a moment this episode and it overall was a bit sad
8.5/10
Poor Adam. He's trying so hard but can't even get a carwash right... :o He's putting in the effort but he's sometimes a bit out of luck and apparently not that smart.
Amy being a victim of sexual assault really sucks. So sad that none of those people on a full bus helped her! I really like how they've shown the real and severe implications at the end (Amy crying and not comfortable to get back on the bus).
Jean: "Fascinating, wow, who knew?"
Otis: "How was your day at school, Mum?"
That dinner was so great xD
And Otis' reaction to being bankrupt was just epic :D
Jean: "Go to your room!"
Otis: "I'm 16."
Jean: "Fine! Well, then I'll go to mine."
Adam's emotionless stare can be just priceless :D
And Maeve's reaction to Otis' gift was so lovely <3 I hope the two will eventually find their way back together. I wanted her to say how she feels but at the same time I was super relieved that she didn't because the situation is so complicated with Ola. And it even seems like Jackson is still in love with Maeve?
And congratulation to Eric of course :)
