I didn't mind the series as a whole, I appreciated the serious and dark tones and I find that the episodes, despite the slowness of the situations, went smoothly until the last, disastrous, episode: a wasted opportunity for a series that had great potential. In the end, the impression is that the series stands up only thanks to the excellent performance of the actors involved. Sin.
A decent outing as far as the MCU shows go, but man they just need to move away from these 6 episode series. Most of them have been not up to par and it's getting tiring. The show started off very promising for me and I quite enjoyed the more serious and grounded tone that felt like there were real stakes, but it falls into the classic MCU series issue of rushing a finale and throwing in a big fight at the end that doesn't need to be there. Nick Fury was very enjoyable but his arc just falls flat in the end. Gravik was actually a pretty good villain as well, but his end also is incredibly anticlimactic despite the big fight. The direction and cinematography is also a mixed bag. It felt great at the start and at the end of the series but in the middle everything looked pretty stale. I've always been a sucker for the MCU but even I am starting to feel the fatigue. Mediocre show after mediocre show is just getting way too old. I did enjoy a lot of my time with this at the start, but looking back it doesn't feel particularly memorable and its intriguing premise falls flat.

Dont really understand why everyone is crapping on this series. I rather liked it.
8/10
Great show
Loved how it had
Stakes real stakes
and it all so exciting
In a who's who
Kinda way.
certain people being
Taken since
Captain America
Civil War er no just no.
This show should have either
been a movie
"Captain America
a brave new world"
or definitely come our
After "The Marvels"
in doing that everything
makes so much more
Sense.
I'm very excited
for G'iah's future in
the MCU, make her
The leader of
"The British Avengers".
"The Marvels"
and "SI" should have
Run as one connected
story, it would have
been off the charts
Awesome.
Still I really enjoyed
The Heck out of this
show and I found it
all rather compelling
and it held my attention
from start to finish.
What a collossal waste of time.
Fury has a Skrull wife. Skrulls are the secret to Fury's omniscience - and they don't want to be used any longer. Honestly, I don't like Fury, never have, never will. His way of playing with people bothered me since his first appearance. Also his way of using people. And this only highlights that.
Anyway, if this show had been about the Skrull subplot, okay. But it's more about Fury's wife, who cares if Hill or Talos die, who cares how long Rhodey spent in that Skrull facility. And in the end Fury leaves again... why? And the disenchanted Skrull leader turns out to be a powerhungry egomaniac who kills everyone in his way... a 1-dimensional thug. This was poorly thought through. What exactly was this show supposed to be about? The plot was barely enough for 4 episodes, there was way too much filler material. Why even concentrate on all those series? At some point enough is enough.
The only saving grace is Olivia Colman. She was a devious delight.
I don't really hate this series like most people do, I think it's got a really interesting setup, with a lot of good twists. The only thing bringing it down is it needing to be a series instead of a movie. It easily could have been a film, and you can kinda tell that the people making the show were struggling to stretch the premise to fill 6 episodes considering the episodes only got shorter and shorter.
But it wasn't bad, and when it did pretty alright at what it wanted to do.
I thought it had a good start and was pretty enjoyable throughout. Again, MCU shows are just better when watched at once, instead of weekly. The VFX did leave a lot to be desired though (especially the end fight)
Enough with the completely stupid MCU shows. There so bad it affects the movies. I guess gone are the days of quality MCU from films such as Iron Man 1
Was good. Could have been way better.

8.1 for this season’s opening credits, I’d rate it 8.5/8.6 but imo I feel like it goes on for too long
