I think this episode suffered from a common problem in the last two seasons, where the sketch writing has gotten better while the limitations of the current cast have prevented them from being performed well. For my money, Heidi Gardner and James Austin Johnson are carrying the rest on their back when it comes to character versatility. I've noticed especially with Johnson that even his supporting characters are unique, and then his impersonations are next level.
Weekend Update was back to being the highlight this week. They went on a tear towards the end where the last 5-6 jokes in a row were knockouts. And case-in-point for what I said about Gardner earlier, she made a MEAL of what could have been a very medicine Weekend Update character.
Also, is it just me, or were the Jonas Brothers lip syncing both performances?

Not the best episode. The season thus far has been fire. I love Molly but it fell flat to me.
