Rush Hour 2016

Thus far the Rush Hour show isn't as bad as some may describe, it's actually still rather entertaining, however it is true that the characters will feel rather unnatural to those who have seen the movies, not only due to different casting, but due to the fact that the main characters, Lee and Carter, adopted large portions of Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker's personalities, respectively, and sadly, Jon Foo and Justin Hires are now in the position of having to act as though they are the previous actors, rather than the characters themselves. If this show is to succeed, I believe the show's staff will have to decide to change the somewhat iconic characters, and make them more unique from the movies, though this will come with it's own issues and complaints from viewers. Either way, it's a lose-lose situation for the show, which is a shame.

It's exactly as bad as I thought it would be, and more.

It's not bad for those addicted to the new Lethal Weapon TV show. Pretty similar and watchable, though of course, not nearly as good. After the first episode, things start to deviate from or expand on the original movie its based on.

I don't know; I found it fun even if it is cliche and predictable. Well the pilot was anyway. Plus at least it's just a Rush Hour show based on just decent movies. It's the Lethal Weapon series I am dreading.
Does make me wish they just kept Battle Creek though.

Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker were the reason the movies were good. Without them this is just an unnecassary cop show.

This show introduced me to Jon Foo and I am happy for that! I wish the black cop partner had been funny instead of just too stupid to watch. Recasting him would have solved my issues with the show, but it's too late now.

I like it. Not as funny as the movie but still good. I hope it doesn't get canceled!
