For a finale, thought it was not climactic enough. After the first few minutes most things got resolved. I guess the tail end bit with Alternate Max was good. But too much ship stuff! And this is coming from a person who liked Vampire Diaries. And to a lesser degree Legacies.
What did you think @Anthoney65? You've been quiet on this show.

I’m so disappointed!!! They had all the elements to have a good show but it really missed the mark. This season was so uneventful, it had no plot and it felt lost, it’s like the writers thought that just by being against 45th’s immigration policies that they had a good show and plot, don’t get me wrong I like that they use this platform for good, and as a mexican woman I liked feeling represented somewhat and seeing the characters have difficult conversations about this topic, but by doing so the show kinda lost its course.
Just this season Superstore (comedy series) had a storyline focused on ICE and immigration which was sad and uncomfortable to watch yet the show never lost its general purpose, so I think a show can spread awareness about a sensitive topic but also just be a show and have a plot by its own, which Roswell failed to do.
Comparing it to TVD (same network and creator) it falls short, like TVD created this intricate fantasy universe and introduced interesting characters in different periods of time and all of them serve a purpose, yeah Nora and Louise are cute girls but they are long gone, or can you imagine a TVD’s season where the big bad villain is Elena’s human aunt?
I think it was a mistake not having Max in so many episodes, I think 3 would’ve been fine, then 3 with amnesia Max and then 5 with evil/suspicious Max and the other 2 just normal Max, also I don’t think there was a single cute moment between Max and Liz, and then that ending with an evil twin???? Is this pretty little liars??
The only highlights for me this season were Isobel, I didn’t like her that much in s1 but there was a lot of growth and she ended up being the most likeable character and also seeing Rosa’s imperfect path to getting better, tho I can’t believe they didn’t even bother in putting her in a disguise.
The showrunners are lucky to have likeable actors and characters, that’s the only reason I would watch s3.
