For the extended skits, the “Harriet the Spy at the NSA” one dragged its joke out a little too far. I totally missed whatever was being referenced in the “sphinx’s boobies” skit. And the Alvin and the Chipmunks at Coachella skit fell pretty flat for me.
For short skits, the mice on the deathstar bit was just weird enough to work. And Pikachu vs. Henry Kissinger was similarly such a bizarre mashup that it clicked for me. I didn’t get the other (I think?) pokemon skit. The Willy Wonka/sex party skit was pretty dumb. The “skip leg day” character was a little obscure (Legend of Zelda?). The skydancer one was a hilarious quick hit gag, as was the zombies wanting brains but settling for mac and cheese. The guy ascending to Heaven but getting stuck in a tree branch was a laugh. The cabbage patch kids joke was ok. The treasure troll wanting to be a pencil eraser was silly but a chuckle.
Overall, this is one where the bigger skits didn’t really work, but a lot of the smaller ones really clicked.
