Honestly, the case of the week got dragged out. I mean why should Anne think that her grandfather who suffers from incipient Alzheimer's should know the way back to the road when he can't even remember what he's doing from one moment to the next? Sure, longterm memory is the last to go but he was obviously unwell and confused... and then she just follows him into rocky terrain without a rope?
Anyway, Markus and Johanna's conversation in the car right before the accident was definitely more interesting - and the whole tragedy was nicely juxtaposed with Anne's father rediscovering his music. Franz is losing loved ones in accidents where Markus is involved, first Andreas, now Johanna... I'd have expected someone to mention that - but I guess it's been forgotten that Franz ever had a son, at least as far as I remember, Andreas has never been mentionned again beyond episode. 7.01.
This episode also marks the first appearance of neurosurgeon Nick...
