2x04 The Salvation of Job

Oh my god, this episode was amazing. If the brutal events that just unfolded cannot even sow a seed of doubt regarding the Sibyl system in Mika, I do not know what will. There is something satisfying about seeing her feeling powerless by the end of the episode given her unjust pride in being "in command", incapability to make decisions on her own, and just generally doubting and putting everyone down. The new enforcers seem really interesting and I want more of them.

I also have so much appreciation for Akane's and Ginoza's character arcs. I wish they would show us a bit more of how Tsunemori strings her thoughts together rather than just hearing her speculate based on intuition. Her ideas will be more believable if we understand how she looks at the evidence presented and comes up with plausible theories. That is usually what frustrates me about series with intelligent characters trying to crack a case.

I also find it funny that last season, Makishima really stood out. But this time, Kamui is like a Basic Anime Boy.
