I like Akane's character arc, but I feel like the change in her perception was too drastic. We saw that Kogami's and Masaoka's thoughts affected her, we saw her tenacity in spite witnessing and failing to do something about her friend's murder, and in this episode, we saw her realize that Kagari was killed and that she was apalled by the true nature of the Sibyl System. However, in spite seeing her reactions, we never really got to see her process those things and respond to them. And we also know that she received some crash course on profiling, but the way we're suddenly shown how she's thinking exactly like Kagami is just too convenient??? Also how Kogami discovered the hyper oats plan. It was based solely on intuition rather than some form of evidence. I am reminded of why I like L's arc better than Near's because at least his inferences were actually based on speculations??

Anyway, Akane was a badass and that little montage she had made me tear up a bit.
