Malcolm seemed different in this episode. He seemed more calm, frighteningly calm. Maybe all these cases are making him more like Martin. Or he could've received training as a child from Martin and that training is slowly coming to the surface. Or I'm overthinking things, and there isn't (going to be) more significance to it.

I agree I really liked this malcolm.. maybe this who he really is when his not obsessed by his father and agonizing over his memories and lack of answers.. except for the last scene. ..
now the mother on the other hand I really can't tell if she knew or not and if the memory of her in the red dress was real .. other than that she is more likeable than the first episodes
