The second half of the episode really pulled it back. But man, I wish Proctor didn’t have to die, I was rooting for him the whole time, one of my favourites!
Not the greatest fan of Tariq and his whole storyline though
But some intense Tommy scenes made up for it this episode
SO FRICKIN PISSED! FU TOMMY!!!
OMG that was some crazy shit. Best episode of the season. Tommy is bat shit crazy.
They killed my favorite character! (Proctor) I was really hoping he would be in the spin off, too. Very upsetting.
These writers do not coddle their audience. They pull no punches.
I was hoping Proctor would say the right thing, or be a better shot, since he's always been the magic man that pulls rabbits out of hats prior to now. That scene was straight up Die Hard or Sarah Connor Chronicles.
King's Gambit is a super risky opening gambit so fitting title with the Riq stuff. I hate when someone plays it against me and wins because I consider it an inferior opening.

Best episode so far of this season. I love it. So many great scenes and intense moments.
Would have wanted Proctor, whom I think is a fan favourite, to not die, but I guess it is what it is.
