This is a really, really funny episode - specifically for how it makes prior developments with Buford put into a new perspective here. It's a funny twist, but also deepens his character and gives him more of a three dimensional side, which is impressive considering he was already a pretty well developed character to begin with.
It's also a great episode in how it's intersecting plotlines really converge, particularly the Buford plotline along with the Phineas and Ferb plotline. The writing in this show has remained excellent for three seasons, which is something truly impressive for something with a formula like this.
