This is one of those episodes, just like "The Baljeetles", that's building to one particular moment over anything else, and just like there the build up is absolutely worth it. It's a fantastic moment for Lawrence as a character, who finally gets to show off his singing chops - you don't get Richard O'Brien to not have him sing.

The Doof plot is also wonderfully ridiculous. It's one of those ones that could have only been thought up by the best writers - it takes a lot of intelligent to write silly stuff like this and make it actually work in the context of the episode.
