This season is absolutely on fire at the start here. Backyard Aquarium is really great from top to bottom - it's one of those episodes that simply take a central conceit and just run with it, using it as a backdrop for character interaction. Candace is really starting to shine in the show, her development is one of the major things that really makes this show something special, the rare "antagonist" who is much a lead as our lead heroes.
And of course, the Doof plot here is really fantastic. It's absurd as per usual but it's so funny you can't help but smile and laugh throughout the whole thing, and the animation is really great during the action scenes here. Fantastic stuff.
