This is a twisty, weird, surreal, bonkers time travel story that is further proof that the creators are in full command of this show. It's confusing, yes, but part of the fun here is figuring out how everything adds up and makes sense in the long term. The visions of the future are both funny but also make sense with the previously established consequences, and the dystopian future is both funny but continues the show's important messages about creativity, imagination, and the importance of childhood.

Plus, it's great to see an episode just be one massive narrative on both accounts. The Doof side of the plot only kicks in near the end, and the Easter Eggs for long time fans are worth it. This is just a fantastic, well constructed episode all around.
