A lot of the time, episodes are just really, really funny and this one is really, really funny. It's a relatable premise - starting to notice your opposite sex friends as, well, the opposite sex is something we can all relate to and understand, and Baljeet's plight here is understandable while also staying very funny. And poor Isabella - this is an episode where you feel extra bad for her due to Phineas' sheer lack of understanding of romance.

Doof's side plot could have easily been a throwaway but it remains very funny regardless. This is one of those episodes that gets by almost entirely by it's humor - which isn't a bad thing. Phineas and Ferb is mainly a comedy after all, and this is one of it's strongest in terms of pure hilarity.
