It's interesting that this episode features a character that isn't really featured at all past this point, but Django's story still makes for a great one off. It's a sweet story about approval from your mentor figures, whether it be a dad in Django's case or, in Doof's case, an old teacher. It's one of the stronger parallels up to this point and it really works.
While it could have stood to be a little bit on the more emotional side or more funny side (it tries to do both and it works, but feels a bit light on both because of it), it's another really strong episode. Just wish we saw Django past this.
