The first 22 minute of the show and it does NOT disappoint. Time travel inevitably had to be an episode due to the possibilities of it, so it's interesting to see that the episode takes a pretty basic approach all things considered to the material. Instead of being a crazy, over the top adventure, the episode grounds itself in character dynamics and the act of building said machine, which allows for some unexpected bursts of humor.
And of course, there is the Doof plot which is an all timer. It's both genuinely emotional while also being gut-bustingly funny - the absurd sincerity of the whole thing makes it both a great example on how the show uses it's tropes to effective emotional use, but also just making a hilarious situation even funnier.
