This episode was good in so many ways. Every plotline was terrific. Every character well thought out and portrayed. One of the top 50 TV episodes of all time.
At this point Finch really has his own badass force. Two ex government killers. Two top notch cops (yes even Fusco). A genius crazy woman and Bear.
"Can you hear me?"
"Absolutely"
"Did you know?"
The heartbreak Finch must have felt knowing that his reluctance to help his friend ultimately cost him his life. That is such a powerful moment, very well executed.
We cannot forget the exchange that happens at the end, Root saying "Absolutely" always sends shivers down my spine
An excellent season, onward to the next.

wtf was this episode?? the mix of the comedy with reese and shaw scenes and the thrill of the root and finch ones, the heartbreaking flashbacks... and the ending, the ENDING. one of the best hours of tv i've ever watched. again, s2 in general wasn't very entertaining to me but the last 3 eps almost made up for all of it. i loved it
If you watched the show until 'God Mode' and you weren't hyped until know, wanting more, you WILL be after this episode.

All the threads from the season pull together in a fantastic finale. As always it goes above and beyond and I don't know how this show consistently does it. A*
