So John is still a complete douchebag to his friends in season 2. Surprising no one.
So, the machine has Reese save a hacker while Finch and Root are waiting for someone.
Reese's frustration with the machine is palpable. And Root and Finch simply have a good (at this point adversarial) chemistry.
Bear makes is entrance. And I really like Carter and Fusco working together.

I always enjoy this episode. POI of the week with a few twists, of course. Plus, the introductions of Bear, Leon, and Hersh! And Denton the creep makes a suspicious return.
I enjoy watching Fusco and Carter interact now they know they're on the same side, and realising their differing relationships with John/bane of my existence.
Reese is quite hilarious managing Leon and Fusco; and he's just searching for his only best friend (okay, maybe one of two).
And a bit more is explored in terms of Finch "teaching" the machine through flashbacks. Root & Finch's adversarial relationship beginning is portrayed excellently by Acker and Emerson.
I'm not sure many kneecaps were shot out in this ep though! And too many good one-liners I couldn't possibly pick just one or two or three to call out and quote here.
