Who is the bad guy? Who is complicit? Keeps you guessing until the end, and beyond.
This captures the grey market quite well. It doesn’t always involve “organized” crime, and in this case the downfall is human fallibility - jealousy.
Good show and Peter Mullan was outstanding as usual but four episodes would have been enough to tell the story, it seems to be the norm lately for shows to have more episodes than needed for no apparent reason other than to drag it out.
the black detective looks like female version of michael wedmore.

This is how a crime thriller is supposed to be... well plotted, well acted, well directed and has a lovely, brisk pace...
Prasanna Puwanarajah, plays an interestingly conflicted cop... Morven Christie, Derek Riddell and Steven Mackintosh do justice to their role and Peter Mullen is brilliant as always, and lights up the screen whenever he's on it.
My only grouse is that the character Lexie is incessantly in tears... I understand the position she was in, but crying all the time was a bit of an overkill... but I am being nit-picky...
This series is well worth a watch...
